6 Day Fjord Kayaking Trip Norway
Overview
If you like an adventure in wild and overwhelming nature and a good conversation around the campfire, this is the trip for you!
This tour is set up like an expedition, where everyone will work together to accomplish goals.
You have to be able to paddle in calm and windy circumstances at a normal pace.
Everybody needs to be able to swim and to be strong enough to lift a fully packed kayak in and out of the water, in rocky and slippery landing conditions.

What To Expect
We will kayak from Ålesund through the Storfjord & Geirangerfjord towards Geiranger village. Along the way, you will be able to enjoy the impressive fjord and waterfalls like the massive Seven Sister waterfall up close.
Start your kayak expedition at the Atlantic coast, where you will leave Ålesund and make your way into the fjord landscape, paddling through the fjords and enjoy camping on an island. While paddling deeper into the fjords, day by day, let yourself be awed as the landscape surrounding you transforms gradually.

The maximum weight capacity for kayaking is 340 lbs / 154 kg.
Nov 2021No experience is necessary! Beginners are welcome on all of our kayak tours. Most of our guests have never been in a sea kayak before. Anyone in average physical condition may join a kayak tour. If you can hike or bike, you can paddle our sea kayaks. You do not need any swimming skills either.
The only prerequisite is a healthy spirit of curiosity and adventure.
Regardless of age or skill level you will find that our expeditions offer enough flexibility to make your experience with us safe and rewarding. We will show you proper sea kayaking technique and water safety before leaving the beach. And your expert guides will be with you throughout the adventure to give you pointers and improve your skills.
