What To Expect
Experience the thrill of ice climbing on Sólheimajökull Glacier in this small-group adventure. Depart from Reykjavík or meet on-site at the glacier parking lot. Over three exhilarating hours, you'll explore dramatic ice formations and climb frozen walls with the help of a certified glacier guide. Gear is provided, including crampons, ice axes, helmets, and safety lines. After a safety briefing, hike across the glacier’s stunning terrain—featuring crevasses, ridges, and vibrant blue ice—before tackling your own ice climb. No experience needed. Discover the power and beauty of this ever-changing icy world.
