Just an hour away from the city, we begin our adventure in the heart of the Parnitha National Park, a natural paradise rich in wildlife, including the majestic red deer that call the mountain home. The mountain’s diverse ecosystem is a protected area and offers panoramic vistas of the Attica region, including the majestic Immitos and Penteli mountains. On a clear day, you may even catch a glimpse of the sparkling Saronic Gulf, where Athens, Piraeus, and Sounio once flourished.

Traversing a serene fir forest, we’ll pause for a restful break at a peaceful spot, giving us time to relax and recharge before tackling the main ascent of the day. As we continue, we’ll encounter the Skipiza watchtower, a vantage point offering breathtaking panoramic views that include the Saronic Gulf, Evia Island, and the rest of central Greece.
