You will see the Mycenaean Acropolis, the tomb of Agamemnon and the ruins of the Cyclopean walls that protected this mighty city.You can also visit the archaeological Museum of Mycenae.In the second millennium BC, Mycenae was one of the major centers of Greek civilization, a military stronghold which dominated much of southern Greece, Crete, the Cyclades and parts of southwest Anatolia. The Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus

Our last stop of this historical tour is the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus.This 4th-century-BC theater is one of the best-preserved Classical Greek structures in existence. Built of limestone is without doubt the highlight of Epidaurus area.It's renowned for its amazing acoustics; a coin dropped in the theater's center can be heard from the highest seat. The theater seats up to 14,000 people. Its entrance is flanked by restored Corinthian pilasters and the foundations of the ancient stage are beyond the circle. It's now used for performances of Ancient Greek drama during the annual Hellenic Festival. - We stop at the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus for 1 hour. - After Mycenae/Epidaurus or before you have the option to stop at a nearby village or town for snacks or a quick lunch. - Drop off at the pick up point or any central point in Athens or Piraeus.
