Join a half day guided tour including the "must see" monuments of Athens, the Acropolis and Plaka. This is an orientation tour offering the visitors an overview of the historical center of Athens and the way the modern city has developed around this.
The history of the Acropolis goes back in prehistoric times, whereas in classical period it becomes the central sanctuary of the city dedicated to its patron goddess Athens symbolizing its political and cultural influence. Our tour begins with the visit to the Acropolis hill. Then we go on with the visit of the old town Plaka, which lies at the foothills of the Acropolis. We will walk past all monuments associated with the political, commercial and social life of the city, i.e the Ancient Agora, the Roman Forum, the Library of Hadrian, the Monastiraki square, next to numerous shops, cafes and restaurants. It is the most attractive district of Athens offering multiple opportunities of recreation, relaxation and shopping.
