- Please do not touch the formation in the cave as it discoloured easily, please help us protect our cave.
- You must be able to climb and descend stairs and walk on unpaved or uneven terrain.
- Aranui Cave has a natural cave entrance and is the smallest and most delicate of Waitomo's three main caves. As a dry cave without a river running through it, it houses very little life past its entrance.
- Boat tour capacity is up to 23 people.
- Caves average at a temperature of 16-17 degrees Celsius year round.
- There is no wheelchair access at the Waitomo Glowworm Cave.
- The caves are accessible to those with reasonable mobility, as there are good handrails and paths.
