Parc de Montjuic

Located to the Southwest of the City Centre, Montjuïc is a broad shallow hill with a relatively flat top overlooking the harbour. The eastern side of the hill is almost a sheer cliff, giving it a commanding view over the city's harbour immediately below. The top of the hill (a height of 184.8 m) was the site of several fortifications, the latest of which (the Castle of Montjuïc) remains today. The views of the city from Montjuic are a must for a Barcelona visit.

Casa Batllo

Designed by world known architect Antoni Gaudí, Casa Batlló is a building in the center of Barcelona. Being built originally as a regular house it was redesigned in 1904 by Gaudí and has been refurbished several times after that. Commissioned in 1906 by Pere Milà, it was built between 1906 and 1912, it is a modernist building and it was the last private residence designed by architect Antoni Gaudí.
