This workshop is designed by Marta Eri, a Barcelona-born historian, archaeologist, restorer, and mosaic teacher.
You will learn directly from a Catalan expert in Gaudí's technique. Marta is the 2022 National Award winner for Educational Innovation, thanks to her dissemination of Gaudí's Modernist Mosaics.
She has written a book, drawing on her 15 years of experience, that reflects the importance of mosaics in education, helping to curb bullying: "Stop Bullying with the Art of Mosaics," sold on Amazon.
You can meet her in person or through radio and television interviews.
We look forward to seeing you in a peaceful and inspiring space, just a stone's throw from the vibrant energy of Park Güell.
You will leave not only with a handmade mosaic, but also with the secret of Gaudí's mosaics, which so perfectly reflects the Catalan spirit.

What To Expect
Enter the magical world of Antoni Gaudí and create your own mosaic masterpiece just steps from Park Güell!
In this hands-on workshop, you'll discover the art of Trencadis, the unique mosaic technique made famous by Gaudí, which uses broken tiles, ceramics, and glass.
The workshop was created by Marta Eri, a historian, archaeologist, and mosaic restorer with over 20 years of experience.
Come to my beautiful workshop next to one of Barcelona's most iconic landmarks: Park Güell.
In the workshop, you'll learn:

*How to design and create your own colorful work
