Our host will be waiting for you in front of the fountain then escort you to the coach where you will head to the chocolate workshop
What To Expect
You will head to the country side of Basel where the chocolatier's making site is located with a host and driver in a 15-seater Mercedes Sprinter. Arrived, you will participate in a 2-hour chocolate-making workshop where you will learn the in-depth processes of Swiss chocolate making, its origin, and how Switzerland became an icon for Milk chocolates. You will first taste a variety of raw cacao beans to understand the different flavors of each bean that the chocolatier uses; you will then be explained the processes from bean to bar, then they'll be a demonstration of how ganache is made to fill your high-quality truffles, afterward, you will go ahead and be making your chocolate bars, and truffles. In total you will be making 3 chocolate bars, and 2 truffles per person.
