Enjoy a once in a lifetime experience by taking a full-day hiking tour along the wild section of the Great Wall. Jinshanling, a beautiful and less-crowded section. Hike on the original and unrestored Great Wall might be a little challenging, but the desolate beauty and great photo opportunities are worthy of your effort.

Free pick-up from hotels within the third ring road of the Beijing city. The exact pick-up time will be informed one day in advance. Additional mini vans will be arranged for hotel pick-ups to save time. For hotels beyond our pick-up range, you can go to a meeting point or pay for extra miles.
What To Expect
Jinshanling Great Wall
Your tour guide and professional driver will pick you up from your hotels at around 07:30 to 08:30 in the morning. The exact pick up time and guide information will be sent to you one day before.After around 2.5 hours, you will arrive at the foot of the Jinshanling Great Wall, and then please follow your guide to start the hike. You will tour for nearly 5 hours, including a hike of at least 3 hours on the wall. En route, you will enter from the Medial Gate or the main entrance. In half an hour, the square of Zhuanduokou Pass will come into your view. Head more east and you’ll reach the General Tower, Shalingkou Pass, the Xiaojinshan and Dajinshan Towers, Houchuankou Pass and Guaijiao Tower. Afterwards, you will continue east until the East Five-Window Tower, which is the highest point on the east line. Finally we’ll descend and in another half an hour exit from East Gate.After you get down from the wall, your guide will escort you back to the hotel.

- Travelers will be picked up in the morning according to their hotel locations. The exact pick-up time will be confirmed the day before. Please be ready at the hotel lobby at least 5 minutes in advance, which is the maximum waiting time. For travelers who are late, please go to meet the group and pay for the taxi personally. No-show is non-refundable.
- Please provide the correct passport information for booking the real-name entrance tickets. And also please make sure to carry the same identification for entry while traveling. Otherwise, entry might not be permitted. If you forgot your passport and need to get back to fetch it, please pay for the transport and later meet the group by yourself.
- The itinerary schedule or sightseeing order may be adjusted according to the traffic on the tour day.
- Departures are guaranteed with three persons.
- Public Holidays: Please aware there will be large crowds and heavy traffic in Chinese public holidays like May Day from May 1st to 5th and National Day from Oct 1st to 7th. We will do the best to arrange the tour.
