A New Listing for an experienced company and crew. Snorkel Big Island has been operating Manta Ray Snorkel Excursions for over 12 years. Attention to detail, safety, and our expert crew, set this excursion apart. During this tour we can visit either the northern manta site near the Kona airport, or venture further south to Keauhou depending on where the best manta sightings have been. Our licensed captains and dedicated guides pull out all the stops to make sure you get the best viewing possible.

Prior swimming & snorkeling experience is required to book this activity. Guest's must be able to independently climb up a side boat ladder. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Not recommended for pregnant women. Contact tour operator for exceptions.

What To Expect

Check In for your Manta Ray Snorkeling Experience on the North side of Honokohau Small Boat Harbor. Our Welcoming Check-in attendant will fit you with a shorty wetsuit (included) to ensure the utmost comfortability during your snorkel experience.

Hop aboard our spacious, safe and comfortable USCG documented vessel for a 15-20 minute ride as our licensed and certified captains and guides narrate the views of the coastline.

Upon arrival at the snorkel site the crew will ensure your safety as you enter the water to snorkel up close and personal with Konas famous Manta Rays. In water guides will tell you interesting facts about the rays and wildlife that surround you.

All guests will hold on to our floating, custom light board, equipped with the most up to date, powerful, underwater lights. Giving our guests an advantage over other operators and ensuring you experience a wildlife encounter you will never forget.

Wetsuit, Snorkel Gear and personal attention is given to every guest as well as additional floatation and assistance for those request it.
