With the help of your native host you will learn about the intricate skill of wood carving from some of the best in the Jamaican Craft Industry. Of course, you may even try your hand at it, especially with the beautiful finishing touches, choosing the colors and even helping to paint. From turtles to fish to Red stripe beer bottles, no memory is too big or small to capture in wood right before your eyes.
The Pineapple farm you visit right after your wood carving experience is a tropical delight, stretching many acres and supplying local and overseas markets. Right there among the pineapple plants nestled in the hills you will learn about types of pineapple, land preparation and planting as well as indulge your taste buds pineapple style. You will enjoy sampling juicy pineapples, pineapple sauces, pineapple themed meals, juices and even wine.

What To Expect
Guests will visit the Wood Carving Capital of St. Elizabeth, Breadnut Walk and get a first hand tutorial on Wood Carving with the option to get custom creations with chosen styles and painting.
Guests will then visit a large Pineapple Farm in the neighbourong district of Ginger Hill, the pineapple capital of Jamaica, where they will tour the Farm and learn about pine cultivation. They will also learn of other crops and fruit trees in the area such as sugar cane and jackfruit. They will also sample pineapple and other in season fruits and partake in a sumptuos pineapple themed meal.
