This full day tour will help you to dive into the culture and cuisine of Bologna and Emilia-Romagna. After pickup from Bologna and a 1-hour drive, you will dive deep into the world of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese. Guided by the producer's staff themselves, you'll witness the magic from cow to wheel. During the tasting, you will try different ages of locally produced Parmigiano Reggiano cheese. Our next stop is a family farm producing Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena. You'll have a guided tour to explore all the secrets of this world-famous "black gold". Afterward, treat yourself to a food tasting, where you'll explore the perfect pairings of balsamic vinegar with local delicacies. After this, we will return to Bologna and head to a local's home, located not far from the ancient city walls. You will learn some typical Bolognese recipes passed down through generations during a 3-hours cooking class. At the end of the course, you will enjoy the prepared dishes with a good local wine.

    The pickup will be from your hotel in Bologna or the nearest point, when it is not possible to reach the place you stay in by car. The exact pickup time will be communicated after the tour confirmation. If you arrive by train, please contact us before booking your train, as we could advise on the best suitable arrival time. If you arrive by train, please note that it could take 15 to 20 minutes to exit the underground train station where most of the high speed trains arrive. It means that you should arrive in Bologna no later than 07:30 am to be on time for your pickup at 07:50 am (tour starts at 08:00 am). Please be on time for your scheduled pickup, as we are unable to accommodate late arrivals. No refunds will be possible in such instances.
