Chateau Bojnice, one of the oldest and undoubtedly most charming monuments in Slovakia. The last aristocratic owner, Count John Palfy, decided to rebuild the castle into a romantic chateau in the Gothic Revival style. As a model, he used the French castles of the Loire valley.
