Peleș Castle is a Neo-Renaissance palace in the Royal Domain of Sinaia in the Carpathian Mountains. The Peles castle was built by the first King of Romania, Carol I of Hohenzollern – Sigmaringen, between 1873 and 1914. By 1883, the year of its inauguration, it was used as summer residence of the Royal family.
Peles Castle will be closed for general cleaning and preventive conservation from November 3 to December 2, 2025. Peles Castle is closed for interior visits every Monday and Tuesday. The visit will be exterior only. On these days, the visit will be supplemented with a stop in the center of Brasov and the Black Church and the old center of Brasov will be visited.
