What To Expect

Heroes' Square (Pass By)

You will first walk by the Heroes’ Square, a beautiful courtyard which has been the witness of many historical events. Also named Hösök thereby its inhabitants, the square is one of the main centres of Budapest and is composed of wonderful statues. Those statues represent the seven chieftains of the Magyars and similar important Hungarian leaders who marked the country's history. You will also take a look at the Memorial Stone, and see Andrássy Avenue.

Kunsthalle

Also known as the Palace of Art, Kunsthalle is a contemporary art museum located in an amazing historic building. As its name says so, you will see many contemporary art exhibitions there. You will find in this Hungarian Academy of Arts Institution a cute bookshop, a library and the famous Mücsarnok Café that overlooks the Heroes’ Square.
