Your local guide shares their knowledge of the area while you discover its unique flora and fauna and history of Kuranda, keeping an eye out for freshwater crocodiles, turtles, fish and bird species. Choose from five daily departure times. Sometimes a cassowary may also be seen on the other side of the river too!

What To Expect
Set out on an informative and rewarding 45-minute rainforest river cruise among Kuranda’s wet tropics.
Board your boat at the riverside landing below the Kuranda Railway/Skyrail Station, over the railway footbridge and down the stairs along Kuranda’s scenic esplanade.
Sit back and relax as your guides point out flora and fauna along the Barron River or snap a few pictures of this stunning area.
Along the way, keep your eyes peeled for an array of wildlife including freshwater crocodiles, turtles, snakes, and water dragons, as well as more than 100 species of tropical birds.

If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.

- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
