Turn your face into the breeze, Feel the sun against your skin. Your snorkeling vessel is on its way to the City Boat Tours ’s #1 Cozumel ´s attraction: the impressive Palancar and Colombia reefs. After drifting over the snorkeling mecca, you'll be ready to “raid” Playa Mia Grand Beach Park for food and fun.
Your tour begins with a scenic southward cruise, along the coastline, to the Cozumel reefs National Marine Park for world-class snorkeling. Receive snorkeling instruction and gear, then follow your PADI certified guide for drift-snorkeling over famous Colombia and Palancar Reefs. Owe at the infinite array of colors and forms of the exuberant marine life.
After snorkeling, the bar on board is open for a well-deserved ice-cold draft beer, a salty margarita or a refreshing rum punch mix. It is also time to weigh anchor for Cozumel’s favorite beach location: Playa Mia Grand Beach Park. There you can sunbathe on the beach, splash into the pools.

Duration of the tour 8 hours. The transfer time for guests with Pick up service from Cancun, or Riviera Maya is not included in the present itinerary.

- The use of a LIFE VEST during the snorkeling activity is MANDATORY, No exception
- This tour is not an available tour for people in wheelchair.
- All participants must sign a Waiver.
- Minimum age for snorkeling is 8 years old.
- Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied, directly supervised and cared by a Responsible Companion, Parent(s) or Legal Guardian at all times.
- Alcoholic Beverages will be served only AFTER the Snorkeling activity.
- Legal drinking age in Mexico is 18 years old. Minors will not be served alcohol, even with parental consent.
- Playa Mia may require, at its sole discretion, a valid photo ID as proof of age for the consumption of alcoholic beverages.
- Playa Mia reserves the right to refuse service of alcoholic beverages to guests that appear intoxicated, are unruly or underage.

Jan 2022Yes, this is possible, as long as you are comfortable going into the water. All City Boat Tours snorkeling tours adhere to strict safety regulations and have been designed to be enjoyed by all.
Your safety is our #1 priority, which is why:
- You will be wearing a flotation device at all times.
- On many tours, there is a stairway from the boat into the water so you won’t have to “jump” in!
- There are trained staff in the water and watching from the boat at all times.
For these reasons, we believe that even non-swimmers can have a wonderful time on our snorkeling trips, however, the final judgment call is yours to make. Please note we do not give refunds if you decide not to snorkel on the trip.
Oct 2021The snorkel gear we use on City Boat Tours tours is high quality and for your protection, the equipment is sanitized after each use. However, if you feel more comfortable using your own snorkeling equipment, feel free to bring it on the tour. Please note, there is no discount for providing your own equipment and we can’t be responsible for any lost or damaged items.

Oct 2021There are no legal age limits for snorkeling. We have found that age 5 or 6 is a good age to learn the basics of snorkeling, however, it’s entirely up to individuals to make the best choice for their family.
Sep 2021- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
