Imagine the adrenaline of being in front of this gigant of the seas. Finally after the Whale Shark view, we will sail to Isla Mujeres. Here you can visit the beautiful beaches of Isla Mujeres, we will take you to the famous beach called Playa Norte which is known worldwide for its incredible and amazing beauty

Meeting and Pickup
If your hotel is not listed please let us know in which hotel are you staying so a representative of our company can contact you to indicate the correct place and time of your pickup. We ask you to indicate the hotel where you are staying in the special requirements box and also with your email. This service has 2 schedules: Classic and Deluxe Option. The schedules vary according to the hotel, our representative will indicate the exact schedule via mail or via text message.For this tour, we do not have departures on the 30th of each month due to Whale Shark Conservation Day. It is important to mention that for TULUM option this service is only bookable for Monday and Saturdays.You will receive confirmation at the time of booking, unless you reserve 7 days or less before the trip. In that case you will receive confirmation within 48 hours, provided there is availability.To organize the tour, a minimum number of passengers is necessary. It is possible that the tour is canceled after confirmation if there is not a sufficient number of passengers. In the event that this happens, you will be offered the option to make the excursion on another date or you will be refunded the full amount.Please select round trip from Cancun if your hotel is in hotel zone of Cancun, Playa mujeres, downtown and Riviera Cancun. If you are in Puerto Morelos or Playa del Carmen select Playa del Carmen option. And if your hotel is between Xcaret and Super Aki Tulum please select roundtrip from Tulum.

What To Expect
The Mexican Yucatan peninsula is one of the few places in the world where you can share the water with the largest fish in the world, the whale shark. After seeing a whale shark, you will have the opportunity to dive into the water and dive with it (weather permitting) to have an encounter with wildlife that few people can experience.
Then we divide the group in couples, every couple will enter to swim in a consecutive order, they will always be guided by the certified guide that will be assigned by boat, the swims can be 1 or a maximum of 3 times per couple, clarifying that depending on how much sharks are in the area is the number of times that the swim will be done. If we find less than 5 shark whale, we will make only the sightseeing.
Once the swim is finished, the captain will mark the course towards the north beach of Isla Mujeres to swim for a while and make a snack with an approximate of 45 minutes, finishing we will go back to marina Punta Sam. Unfortunately we can´t guarantee the whale shark sightseeing but in most of the cases we find them

Jan 2022Yes, this is possible, as long as you are comfortable going into the water. All City Boat Tours snorkeling tours adhere to strict safety regulations and have been designed to be enjoyed by all.
Your safety is our #1 priority, which is why:
- You will be wearing a flotation device at all times.
- On many tours, there is a stairway from the boat into the water so you won’t have to “jump” in!
- There are trained staff in the water and watching from the boat at all times.
For these reasons, we believe that even non-swimmers can have a wonderful time on our snorkeling trips, however, the final judgment call is yours to make. Please note we do not give refunds if you decide not to snorkel on the trip.
Oct 2021The snorkel gear we use on City Boat Tours tours is high quality and for your protection, the equipment is sanitized after each use. However, if you feel more comfortable using your own snorkeling equipment, feel free to bring it on the tour. Please note, there is no discount for providing your own equipment and we can’t be responsible for any lost or damaged items.

Oct 2021There are no legal age limits for snorkeling. We have found that age 5 or 6 is a good age to learn the basics of snorkeling, however, it’s entirely up to individuals to make the best choice for their family.
Sep 2021If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
