Overview

Travel from Arne Jacobsen's SAS Royal Hotel, one of the first masterpieces of postwar Danish design, past the city's environmentally-conscious modern architecture to its Art Nouveau city hall on this self-guided GPS audio tour. Pass by the famous old townhouses at Nyhavn - a scene you may recognize from postcards of Copenhagen - and the auction houses where great vintage Danish design is for sale. End at the Danish Design Museum.

For the shopper: Illums Bolighus for Danish design products; Royal Copenhagen porcelain and dishware; HAY modern home design; Magasin for Danish fashion brands; Bredgade for vintage pieces from the 1950s and 1960s. For the museum goer: Glyptoteket for classical sculpture and French impressionist art, the Danish National Museum for Viking artifacts, the Danish Design Museum for modern Danish design.

The audio plays automatically at exactly the right time and place using your smartphone's GPS and the VoiceMap mobile app, which also works offline.

Sorting, ranking, and search results

Activity name

City Boat Tours wants to make your searches as relevant as possible. That's why we offer many ways to help you find the right experiences for you.

On some pages, you can select how to sort the results we display and also use filter options to see only those search results that meet your chosen preferences. You'll see explanations of what those sort options mean when you select them.

If you see a Badge of Excellence label, the award is based on average review ratings, share of bookings with a review, and number of bookings through City Boat Tours over a 12-month period.

The importance of any one factor over any other in a sort order varies, and the balance is constantly being reviewed and adjusted. We're always updating our systems and testing new ways to refine and improve your results to make them as relevant as possible to meet your needs.
