What To Expect

When boarding the boat you will be provided with the necessary safety equipment and instructions, once ready you will be hooked to parasailing, when everything is ready the boat will start moving faster and you and your companion will start to rise safely once you reach about 250 meters the boat will sail for 15 min in total in which you can enjoy the view and the breeze of the sea of cozumel, when after 15 min you and your companion will start descending until you reach the boat again and land on it in a comfortable way, once on the platform of the boat you will be directed to your seats and asked to remove the harems from your body and only stay with the life jackets, after this you will be returned to your starting point in San Francisco beach where you can enjoy the beautiful beach without rocks, pool, wi-fi, baths and showers. Maximum weight 450 pounds.

Although it is best for you to be comfortable in the water, you do not have to know how to swim. Each guest is provided with a buoyancy compensator (BC) that will assist with flotation.

Q: Is there an age requirement for parasailing?
A:

Yes, the minimum age to parasail is 6 years old. Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign their liability waiver prior to boarding the vessel. At City Boat Tours safety is our number one priority. The minimum weight required for parasailing is roughly 90 pounds. If the flyer is less than 90 pounds, they will simply fly tandem with someone not to exceed roughly 450 pounds combined weight. Weight requirements may differ due to wind conditions.
