You will have a great tour at the ancient site of Aptera site.
After the tour, you will have the great opportunity to paint ancients & learn ancient greek calligraphy, writing words, phrases & your name. At the end you will take your artpiece with you, plus your certification.

Part 1: Explore the ancient site of Aptera on a half-day tour. Wander around the Roman ruins, the Roman baths, the ancient theater, and the old church with the abandoned monastery and more around .

Part 2: After the tour, you will have an one-hour workshop and learn ancient Greek calligraphy by Lena Septemvri, Greek calligrapher. You will paint ancients & you will be teached the ancient greek letters.
All the materials for the workshop are included, don't bring anything with you.

Part 3: At the end, you will taste delicious traditional Cretan food and sweets and experience the Cretan hospitality in a village close to Aptera.

What To Expect

This mini group tour of half-day in Aptera, shows you the archaeological site and offers you fun & education with a painting & greek calligraphy workshop. At the end you will have your own ancient art, to bring it home.
First, will explore together the ancient site of Aptera, wander around the Roman ruins, the roman baths, the ancient theater, the old church with the abandoned monastery and more around.
After the tour, you will have the unique opportunity to participate an about one-hour workshop, painting ancients & learn ancient greek calligraphy by Lena Septemvri, Greek calligrapher. You will learn the ancient greek alphabet, and you will write words, phrases & your name in ancient greek letters. Supplies included.
At the last part of our trip you will taste delicious traditional cretan food and sweets and you will experience the cretan hospitality in a village close to Aptera.
At the end we have a small surprise for you.
In our trip you will have a whole educational experience from the ancient Cretan culture untill the culture of nowadays.
This educational tour is ideal as an experience for everybody who would like to learn more from a tour.
