Overview

Sail to Chrissi Island on our luxurious catamaran and explore this exotic paradise with privacy! Our journey will begin from the port of Ierapetra. Our crew will meet you right at the bell tower of Ierapetra. After boarding you will be greeted to our yacht with a few drinks while the captain will give you a safety briefing. After exiting the port you will admire the gorgeous southern coast of Crete and the stunning blue waters of the Libyan Sea. Sailing to the island will take 1.5 hours. As soon as you arrive in the bay of the island you will be able to dive from our yacht and enjoy the crystal waters in privacy. Also you will be able to use our snorkeling and paddle boarding equipment and explore the nearby underwater world. During our stay in the bay of the island our crew will serve locally produced delicacies and unlimited drinks that you can enjoy. Around 1 hour later we will start our sail back to catch the stunning sunset and return to the port full of joy and great memories.

What To Expect

Chrissi Island

Chrissi island or Gaidouronisi is located 8 miles south of Ierapetra city, in the open South Cretan Sea. It is a flat islet very famous for its tropical blue water that cover all possible palette hues of blue and green, the protected forest with large juniper trees and the thousands of broken shells that make the sand pinkish. The residents of Ierapetra love this island and call it simply "the Island". It is said that years ago by Gianni Agnelli, the chairman of Ferrari, wanted to buy the island to make it a tourist attraction. Chrissi takes its name (golden in Greek) after the white sand that covers the entire island and comes mainly from shell debris. Chrissi has been declared as an area of natural beauty. You must keep away from the fragile juniper trees and avoid collecting sand or shells.
