During the winter months hundreds of manatees congregate in the springs and you can't beat viewing these amazing animals up close from a stand up paddle board or kayak. Although Manatee season is during the winter time, resident manatees can still be spotted in the waterways year round. King’s Bay has more to offer than just manatees however, so whatever the time of year we'd love to get you out on the water to explore it! We have an excellent map so you can navigate the bay easily and save money by not paying for a guide. We will go over the map with you in detail before launch so you know how to get to the springs and where to look for manatees.

Stand-up paddle board or kayak with manatees at Three Sisters Springs on King's Bay in beautiful Crystal River. Crystal River is home to one of the largest manatee populations in the world. We have an excellent map so you can navigate the bay easily and save money by not paying for a guide. We will go over the map with you in detail before launch so you know how to get to the springs and where to look for manatees.
All rentals include paddles, life vests, and a detailed map! We deliver and pickup the vessels at the launch very close to our shop so you do not have to transport any equipment.
Our Vessel Specifications:
Double sit-on kayaks provide market leading seating comfort, are 13' long, 33" wide, and hold up to 450 pounds, and can accommodate 2 adults and 1 small child.

Feb 2022If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
