Denver Firefighters Museum

This is Denver's Historic, Fire Station No.1. This place represents a bygone era of Denver, and was involved in fighting some of Denver's most famous fires. Although we don't go through the museum, we do pop in to check out the some of the antique fire trucks, as well as some fun merchandise, available to buy. This a great spot to pickup some unique, Denver souvenirs. We do not go through the museum.

United States Mint

Since the gold mining days of Denver, this mint (one of only 4 in the United States), has stood as a fortress of security, in order to save the treasures that are stored inside. This mint is the largest producer of coins in the world, and is used as gold reserve. Although the have never had a successful robbery, they have had many attempts; one such famous attempt, created a "Wild west" shootout, in the middle of the main street that runs through Denver.
