Morning Kayaking with Sun Bed and Parasol at St. Jacobs Beach

Start your day with our small and interactive kayak tour. Paddle through the stunning Adriatic Sea and experience a different perspective of the Old Town and Lokrum Island. Take a refreshing swim at the Betina Cave and finish your tour at the Beach St. Jacob where you can rest on your sunbed under the shade of a sun umbrella for the rest of the day.

What To Expect
In approx two hour activity you will see
St Jacob beach is the starting point
Betina cave warm up paddle this is only accessible from the sea. First stop 10- 15 minutes break
First quarantine. 5 minute stop history lesson
City port and walls. 10 minute stop and guide whole heritage presentation
Lokrum island. 15 minute break with guide presentation about cursed island
-Golub cave on far end of Lokrum island. This is an optional
-Orsula cliffs. This is an optional
Back to St Jacob beach
if you decide to take on the optional stops our guide will be more than happy to take you there without any additional cost, just be aware that that route will add an additional hour in your sightseeing and paddling.
In between each checkpoint there is about 15 minutes paddling and sightseeing. Our guide will stop the tour in front of each attraction and share some stories.
Upon returning to St Jacobs beach you will have sunbeds and sun umbrella at your disposal for the rest of the day at every two beds there will be one sunbrella for leisure time.

The maximum weight capacity for kayaking is 340 lbs / 154 kg.
Nov 2021No experience is necessary! Beginners are welcome on all of our kayak tours. Most of our guests have never been in a sea kayak before. Anyone in average physical condition may join a kayak tour. If you can hike or bike, you can paddle our sea kayaks. You do not need any swimming skills either.
The only prerequisite is a healthy spirit of curiosity and adventure.
Regardless of age or skill level you will find that our expeditions offer enough flexibility to make your experience with us safe and rewarding. We will show you proper sea kayaking technique and water safety before leaving the beach. And your expert guides will be with you throughout the adventure to give you pointers and improve your skills.
Sep 2022Your safety is City Boat Tours‘s number one concern. In general, sea kayaking is safer than most other outdoor pursuits, even bicycling.
Jan 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the tour start time will not be accepted.
