I can pick you up at Old Town accommodation & adapt my route if you’re jet-lagged & need maximum time to eat breakfast, but story-wise it’s optimum to meet me at the regular tour start point: opposite the Balmoral Hotel with its clock tower, besides the statue of the Duke of Wellington.Please message me to change the tour commencement time after booking; it can start later but rarely earlier

- There is a good amount of steps. People say it is a good workout. Wear comfortable waterproof shoes
- It can be very cold, bring a hat & gloves & check the weather for rain
- 8 hours is a long time so BREAKFAST. Think everybody’s favourite Gameskeeper: if your feet haven’t swollen to baby Dolphins - keep shovelling!
- For an all-day private tour the price is relatively keen, ½ of some. Lunch, maybe a tip, are MOST appreciated.
