Folly Beach Rental

Paddling is the perfect experience for all types of people! You can cruise and enjoy nature and wildlife, or turn it up a bit and paddle quicker for a little workout. Most people I've taken have turned paddling into a hobby for a lifetime!After a brief intro we'll hop on the paddle boards and head off. Some start sitting, others start kneeling, but no matter what level you are, we'll have you standing up and flying on the paddleboard in no time. For those who enjoy kayaking we also have those available!:) Other things to note Will meet at the Folly Beach Boat Landing which is a public boat ramp. Parking is limited for single cars, DO NOT park in double spaces as these are reserved for boats/trailers. If full, go one block past the boat landing and turn left on Indian Ave. You can park in spaces or in the side of the road. ATTN: Times change based on the tides

Q: Do I need kayaking experience or will you teach me?
A:

No experience is necessary! Beginners are welcome on all of our kayak tours. Most of our guests have never been in a sea kayak before. Anyone in average physical condition may join a kayak tour. If you can hike or bike, you can paddle our sea kayaks. You do not need any swimming skills either.

The only prerequisite is a healthy spirit of curiosity and adventure.

Regardless of age or skill level you will find that our expeditions offer enough flexibility to make your experience with us safe and rewarding. We will show you proper sea kayaking technique and water safety before leaving the beach. And your expert guides will be with you throughout the adventure to give you pointers and improve your skills.

If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
