We will start our wine adventure by visiting Baron Knyphausen which is a historic family-run winery in Eltville-Erbach, Rheingau, renowned for its terroir-driven Rieslings and elegant Pinot Noirs. A member of the prestigious VDP and fully organic since 2021, the estate cultivates famed vineyards such as Marcobrunn and Hohenrain, crafting wines that reflect centuries of tradition and meticulous care. Visitors can experience its heritage at the picturesque Draiser Hof, home to a wine lounge, shop, and restaurant.While we learn about the winery you will try up to 10 different wines from simple estate wines to Auslese (a selection of wines), sometimes even Trockenbeerenauslese (a selection of wines), ice wine, and even older vintages.
