Be on the lookout for Humpback whales and experience the thrill
of getting up close and personal with these majestic creatures as
they frolic in the calm, clear waters off Fraser Island.

breach or be awestruck as you come face to face as they spy hop
right next to the boat.

Bus pick up information – Important information for all pick up services - Please call Tasman Venture to confirm your pick up time. - Pick up window is 10 minutes either side of the pick up time – Please be ready and waiting outside the designated pick up location for the entirety of the pick up window. - Pick up and drop off times are approximate, Tasman Venture does not take responsibility for delays due to traffic or any other factor. - Our services are unable to wait for late passengers. - Passengers who miss the allocated pick up window will need to make alternative travel arrangements at their own expense.

What To Expect
Guests will spend time snorkelling, kayaking, hiking, tubing and walking at various locations on the remote west coast of World Heritage listed K'gari (Fraser Island). Get up close and personal with majestic humpback whales and you may even have the chance to swim with them (subject to conditions)

As an active member of the Dolphin SMART program, we do not have physical contact with the dolphins on Remote Fraser Island & Whale Experience. We watch them in their natural habitat from the boat.
Dec 2022If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
Feb 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the tour start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the tour local time (AEST).
- This tour requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
