Overview
Cook Island, a short boat trip from the Gold Coast, is an accessible and appealing dive site for all experience levels. A colourful and interesting mix of reef and pelagic fish call Cook Island home: pufferfish, gropers, surgeonfish, anemonefish, leatherjackets, parrotfish, trevally, bullseyes and sweetlips are some of the most common residents. Photographers will find plenty of photogenic subjects, with nudibranchs, stingrays, turtles, wobbegongs and even leopard sharks over summer.

Discover the magic of the ocean with our Scuba Experience, designed for beginners and thrill-seekers alike. No prior diving experience? No problem! Our expert instructors will guide you every step of the way, ensuring a safe and exciting journey beneath the waves.
Please Note: you do not need the Open Water Certificate.
Take your first breath underwater and experience weightlessness like never before!

- Our Try-Scuba trip requires no license or prior experience
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Diving within 48 hours of flying is not recommended.

Participants in the Try-Scuba Experience at Cook Island: Turtle Encounters 100% cannot fly in an airplane within 24 hours of their dive.
The main concern with scuba diving and flying is decompression sickness (DCS). Your body needs adequate time during an ascent to off-gas excess nitrogen, or you can form bubbles in your bloodstream, possibly leading to DCS.
Jun 2024- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the tour start time will not be accepted.
