Swim with Whales in Gold Coast
Overview
Our Whale Adventures are truly unique. We utilise a small vessel in small groups of only 12 guests, providing an unparalleled, personal, and boutique whale watching experience. We closely work with researchers and encourage all our guests to become inspired by what we do.
Swimming with whales is a our ultimate experience and provides you with an opportunity to see and listen to the whales underwater.
We will kit you up with a wetsuit (winter), mask, snorkel and life jacket. Once alongside a pod of whales, you will swim out along a floating rope designed to provide you with a safe and relaxing time with other swimmers. Once in the water you will be able to see and hear the whales.
Bring your GoPro or underwater camera to film your experience.
NOTE - The whales are fickle creatures and will choose if they want to swim with you. We have no control over their activities, however staying calm is best.

What To Expect
On this whale tour, you are presented with the unique chance of humpbacks choosing to swim with you. Everything we do during this experience is at the whales discretion and what ever happens simply happens. You can join this adventure tour as a whale swimmer or observer and watch from the deck of our vessel Game Changer.

As an active member of the Dolphin SMART program, we do not have physical contact with the dolphins on Swim with Whales in Gold Coast. We watch them in their natural habitat from the boat.
Dec 2022If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
Feb 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the tour start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the tour local time (AEST).
- This tour requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
