Afterwards, we head to the community of Benito Juárez, where we'll live with local families and learn about their way of life. We'll learn how to make nixtamalized corn tostadas, a tradition that's been around for over 40 years.We will visit a coffee plantation and experience the artisanal process: harvesting (in season), pulping, drying, roasting, and tasting a freshly brewed cup of coffee.We'll also explore a cacao plantation on a hike, taste fresh cacao beans, and make artisanal chocolate from scratch.During the tour, we'll enjoy exotic seasonal fruits such as soursop, mamey, tangerines, pineapple, bananas, and products like cinnamon and vanilla.
