Istanbul off the Beaten Paths- Europe to Asian Side-Sightseeing & Food Tour.
Overview
We will leave the main touristy sights behind and drive away to Istanbul's less known neighborhoods and sights. The tour will partly be sightseeing and partly food sampling in different parts of Istanbul. We will start with Ortaköy neighborhood suited on the side of the Bosporus where you can put Asia and Europe in one picture.We will go little further to see Rumeli Fortresses which was part of the defense of conquering the Constantinople in 1453.
After this we will drive through the Istanbul Bosporus bridge from European side to Asian side.We will visit Beylerbeyi palace and see how the Sultans were living.We will visit the Çamlıca which the highest hill of Istanbul and a new mosque built in 2019 which is one of the biggest one in world.We will conclude the tour at the Kadıköy food market with sampling the variety of the different food which comes from different parts of Turkey. Your guide will order the food for you and make it easier to make a selection of the well chosen food you.

- Snacks Börek pastries in Ortaköy at about 10 am. This is will be variety of the pastries stuffed with cheese, minced meat, spinach.

- Food sampling in seven stops. Pastrami ( sun dried beef from Kayseri)
- Air-conditioned vehicle
- Künefe ; the most liked middle eastern dessert made of angel hair, pistachio, cheese and honey.
- Turşu ; variety of the pickled vegetables serve in a glass with a delicious juice

- Halva; one of the oldest dessert made of the wheat flour, tahini, pistachio and sugar.
- Midye Dolma; mussels stuffed with rice and spices in their shell
