What To Expect

Blue Cave

The tour begins with a cruise to the Blue Cave, during which you can enjoy a comfortable ride and beautiful views of the Bay of Kotor for almost an hour. Situated on the Luštica Peninsula, just beyond the Bay of Kotor – the Blue Cave, also known as the Blue Grotto, shines with an extraordinary blue shade. This natural cave is created at the bottom of a 100-meter cliff as a result of the impact of sea waves on porous rocks of the Luštica Peninsula over thousands of years. The shade is a result of the sunrays entering the cave through an underwater opening and reflecting off the limestone walls. Here you can enjoy swimming and taking photos in the phenomenal atmosphere that is out of this world (30 minutes).

Mamula Island (Pass By)

It gets even more interesting! Our next adventure is a panoramic tour of Mamula Island. The fortress located on this island was a concentration camp during World War II. This view will at the same time overshadow you with its natural beauty but also freeze the blood in your veins because of it’s history – about which you can hear more from our captains during the ride.

Former Submarine Tunnel

Embark on a fascinating journey to the historic former submarine tunnel in Kumbor. This unique tour takes you through a piece of naval history as you glide into the tunnel aboard a boat. As you enter the tunnel, you’ll feel the cool, shadowy embrace of this impressive structure, which once served as a secretive hideaway for submarines. The walls, carved into the rocky coast, echo tales of the past and the strategic importance of this hidden gem during its operational days.

Our Lady of the Rocks

Our Lady of the Rocks, which stands proudly in front of the Old Town of Perast, is one of two charming islands located in the Bay of Kotor. It is considered one of the main tourist attractions in this part of the Adriatic sea – because of the legend of its origin and unreal beauty. According to tradition, the Lady of Rocks was built at the place where the Moršić brothers found an image of the Mother of God. The citizens of Perast threw stones around the cliffs and built a small chapel. Later they continued to bring stones to the island, which made it grow bigger and bigger over time.By the way, this custom of piling stones (known as Fašinada) around our Lady of Rocks has grown over time into a traditional ceremony that has been continuously held every July 22 for more than 500 years!

On some pages, you can select how to sort the results we display and also use filter options to see only those search results that meet your chosen preferences. You'll see explanations of what those sort options mean when you select them.

If you see a Badge of Excellence label, the award is based on average review ratings, share of bookings with a review, and number of bookings through City Boat Tours over a 12-month period.

The importance of any one factor over any other in a sort order varies, and the balance is constantly being reviewed and adjusted. We're always updating our systems and testing new ways to refine and improve your results to make them as relevant as possible to meet your needs.
