We carry out the activity with small groups, this allows each person to obtain the best experience. In addition, each activity is accompanied by a Marine Biologist who will share the most up-to-date and relevant information about whales.

What To Expect
-Departure from La Paz to Puerto Chale between 7:50 am- 8:20 am
-Sighting in a panga boat (2 hrs)
-Food at a local restaurant
-Transfer to the hotel
Welcome to the best whale watching!!, we will leave the city of La Paz to go to one of the most important shelter sites for the gray whale, where in addition to meeting one of the giants of the sea we will also have the opportunity to observe birds and dolphins.
Once we arrive at the port, we will board a boat that will take us through the mangroves until we reach the viewing area where we will spend two hours watching the gray whale.
It is important to remember that we do NOT harass the whales, our work to protect the species has characterized us for years, this makes the trip unique and special!
Upon returning to the port we will offer you food in one of the local restaurants, we will stay there for approximately 1 hour and a half.
Once you have finished your meals, we will board the transport to return to the City of Peace where we will leave you at the point where we picked you up.
It is important to mention that throughout the entire time you will have a guide who will provide you with information.

As an active member of the Dolphin SMART program, we do not have physical contact with the dolphins on Full Day Gray Whale Watching Experience. We watch them in their natural habitat from the boat.
Dec 2022If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
Feb 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the tour start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the tour local time (MST).
- This tour requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
