What To Expect
During the Ocean Safari departing from La Paz, you’ll enjoy a unique marine adventure in the Sea of Cortez, one of the most biodiverse regions in the world. Here’s what to expect during your activity:
Pick-Up and Departure
Wildlife Watching
The main goal is to search for and observe marine life in its natural habitat. Depending on the season and a bit of luck, you might see dolphins, manta rays, sea turtles, sea lions, seabirds, and-at certain times of year-whales or whale sharks. Your guide will help you spot and understand the behaviors of each species.
Snorkeling and Nature Immersion
At select locations, you’ll stop to snorkel around reefs or near sea lion colonies, always under the supervision of your guide. All necessary snorkeling gear is provided, and you’ll receive instructions to ensure a safe and environmentally respectful experience.
Time to Relax and Enjoy
There will be moments to relax on board, enjoy included refreshments, and soak in the tranquility of the sea and the beautiful surroundings.
