Torre Grossa (o Torre del palazzo del Podesta)

The Archaeological Museum displays finds from the Etruscan, Roman and medieval periods originating in the San Gimignano area. The exhibition is divided into two sections: one dedicated to Etruscan-Roman art with evidence from settlements found in the area dating back to the VII-I century BC, the other reserved for artisan production activities, such as glass and ceramic, attested in the city during the Middle Ages.Next to the building is the splendid Torre Grossa, completed in 1311, the tallest in the city, from which it is possible to admire a unique and unforgettable panorama.
