Parque Eduardo VII

Parque Eduardo VII de Inglaterra is the largest park in the center of Lisbon. On the Right side is the Estufa Fria, with a variety of exotic plants, streams, waterfalls, palm trees and trails, fuchsias, flowering bushes, and banana trees, and the Estufa Quente with plants lush trees, lakes, and cacti as well as tropical birds. We will start our tour from here, you will have a wide-angle view of Praca de Marques Pombal as well as you will be able to have a far-off glimpse of the River Tejo, which later on the day we will be able to see from near. The park is so big and amazing you will have a wonderful place to take pictures as well.

Praca Marques do Pombal

The square pays tribute to Sebastião José de Carvalho e Melo, a statesman who led the country into the age of enlightenment, having ruled between 1750 - 77. His image is at the top of the column, with his hand resting on a lion (a symbol of power), with his eyes turned towards Baixa, the center of Lisbon that Pombal rebuilt after the 1755 earthquake. We will stop at the square so that you can go near it and take a close view of the great monument.

Avenida da Liberdade

Avenida da Liberdade is one of the main avenues in the city of Lisbon, Portugal, which connects Praça dos Restauradores to Praça do Marquês de Pombal. About 90 m wide and 1100 m long, it has several lanes and wide sidewalks decorated with gardens and Portuguese pavement. Praça de Luís de Camões, colloquially Largo de Camões, is located in Chiado, The statue of Luís de Camões is by the sculptor Vítor Bastos and was inaugurated on October 9, 1867. Torre de Belem
