Lisbon Private Wine Tasting Experience
Overview
This wine tasting is hosted by myself, Salvador Borges de Castro, a local sommelier with a professional expertise for Portuguese wines. I host this event in my own home, which makes it personal and authentic. I introduce and share a selection of 5 different wines in every tasting session. No wines are ever the same for every event.
Clients love the fact that I select wines that represent the various wine regions in Portugal. So for those visiting Lisbon, they get the chance to taste different wines sourced from all over the country.
I also select lesser known wines. Often these wines are not available in supermarkets. Some of these wines are rare, produced with limited bottles and are difficult to find.
After the wine tasting, nibbles of cold cuts and cheese platter, along with olives, crackers and other snacks are served to be enjoyed with the wines. Guests can then socialise, meet and chat with one another, share stories and conversations over glasses of wine!

What To Expect
Portugal is a spectacular country for wines, and it's my absolute passion to share knowledge, cultivate appreciation and understanding of the wines here in this country.
As a sommelier, I've made it my mission to introduce to you some of the best and most distinctive Portuguese wines you'll ever taste.
Not just any wines on supermarket shelves, but unique, beautifully produced wines, full of character and complexity. Wines that are often from independent, family-owned, heritage wine producers. Wines that are lesser known and yet absolutely underrated in quality and flavour. Wines that are rare and sometimes difficult to find.
I will orient you to various wine regions of Portugal, certainly beyond the familiar.
With every tasting session, I select 5 different wines, making every event unique. That no matter how many times you join my events, you'll always taste new and wonderful wines every time.
So come and find out which wines I'll be sharing in my next tasting! You'll also get to know new people, socialise and share stories about Portugal and immerse yourself in the culture.
