This romantic terrace by the church of Santa Luzia introduces visitors to Alfama with a sweeping view over its houses, churches, and the Tagus River. Alfama is Lisbon's oldest extant neighbourhood, built in the 8th century during the Muslim conquest of Portugal and neighbouring Spain. Under the Umayyad Caliphate, Lisbon became one of the largest cities in Europe. “Alfama”–from the Arabic al-Hamma, “public baths”–constituted the whole of the city in this period. Padrao dos Descobrimentos
The Discoveries Monument symbolises a Portuguese caravel ship. Depicted along both sides of the monument are prominent explorers and notable individuals from the Age of Discovery, with Henry the Navigator at the front.The Monument to the Discoveries (Padrão dos Descobrimentos in Portuguese), located in Belém – Lisbon – was built in 1939 to honor the Portuguese Discoveries of the golden XV and XVI centuries. It is also known as Monument to Navigators and it was designed by the Portuguese architect José Angelo Cottinelli Telmo.

Mosteiro dos Jeronimos
Jerónimos Monastery is an important example of Manueline, or Portuguese Late Gothic architecture. With vaulted ceilings and sophisticated decorative elements, the site reflects the ecclesiastical and royal commissions that characterized the era in which it was built.The Jerónimos Monastery as it is commonly known replaced the church that had existed on the same site. It was dedicated to Santa Maria De Belém and in it the monks of the Order of Christ provided spiritual guidance to Seafarers. The construction work commenced in 1501 and it was completed roughly one century later.

- Guests are responsible to notify the Tour/Service for any delays. After the allocated waiting time, if no contact with the party, the Tour/Service Operator reserves the right to record the trip as a No-Show by the Guest. No-Shows are Not Refundable.
- In the event the Tour/Service Operator cannot accommodate the extra luggage, and or oversize-luggage, and or extra passengers that were not listed and or mentioned in the booking, the customer(s) have the option to either (1) request an addition vehicle from the Tour/Service Operator (if one is available) by making a new reservation and paid for the additional service/vehicle, (2) hire a third party to handle the additional luggage, oversize-luggage, and or extra customers. For safety, and or to prevent additional weight in the vehicle that will incur additional costs, the Tour/Service Operator reserves the right to refuse to carry the additional luggage, and or oversize-luggage, and or additional passengers that were not listed and or mentioned in the reservation. No refunds will be given for unused services.

Bags that are overweight may incur additional charges or will not be allowed in the vehicle if it does not fit. - Due to unforeseen events such but not limited to Road Conditions, Mechanical Failures, Over Bookings, the Tour/Service Operator reserves the right to hire a Tour/Service Operator´s Affiliate and or Partner to provide transportation for a scheduled pickup. The service type and cost will be equal or greater from what the Client has paid. In such cases, the information provided to The Affiliate and or Partner it will be limited to the Client's name and contact phone number, arrival/departure flight information, and pickup/drop off information. In the event the Tour/Service Operator sees the need to use one of our Affiliates and or Partners to provide a scheduled pick-up, the Tour/Service Operator will Not Charge the client any extra fees. These measures have to be in place to ensure that our clients do not get service interruptions or to avoid any unnecessary delays.
- Total duration of this tour is aproximately 4 hours and includes travel time.
- Collapsible wheelchairs/Scooters with removable wheels can be accommodated providing the Guest(s) is/are accompanied by someone who can assist them, board, disembark and disassemble/assemble the wheelchair/scooter. Please keep in mind that Wheelchairs/Scooters may not fit in a vehicle luggage compartment designated for 1-2 Passengers (Sedan), or 3-4 Passengers (Minivan).
