RIO MAIOR - "SALINAS"
In "Salinas" de Rio Maior, we will learn why and how can we have salt, although there is no sea around. The secret is that inside Serra dos Candeeiros, there is a huge Salt Yolk, and with the rain it melts and turns water 7 times more salted than sea water. So from spring till end of summer, due to evaporation, lots of salt can be found there. We will be able to to buy some artifacts made with this product. Little pices of Art, you can take home with you.
