Your English-speaking driver will meet you directly beneath your cruise ship at Livorno Port at 8:00 AM. The day begins with a visit to Pisa, where you'll have time to marvel at and photograph the iconic Leaning Tower and the remarkable monuments of Piazza dei Miracoli, including the Baptistery and the Cathedral. The Leaning Tower, a world-famous symbol of architectural resilience, began tilting during its construction in the 12th century due to soft ground. The tilt worsened until stabilizing remedial work (1993-2001) reduced it to 3.97 degrees. For those seeking an unforgettable experience, climbing the tower offers stunning views of Pisa's landscape.
