The town is also celebrated for its saffron, the Golden Ham, and the renowned Vernaccia di San Gimignano—a white wine made from ancient Vernaccia grapes grown on the area's sandstone hills.While in the main square, don’t miss the chance to try the “world’s best gelato” at Gelateria Dondoli.
