Meeting and Pickup
Explanation how this tour works. Private trip to the Predjama castle and Postojna caves, this is one of the tours prepared together with our colleagues who manage the Castle and Caves. The tour begins with your personal assistant picking you up at the place of your accomodation. Upon arrival at the castle, your personal assistant parks a 3-minute walk from the castle and accompanies you to the main entrance to the castle. An audio tour awaits you in the castle itself. The audio tour of the Predjama Castle lasts over an hour. Audio guides included in the ticket price are available in 17 languages (Slovenian, English, etc.). After the castle's tour, your personal assistant will be met and you will go to the Postojna Caves. Your personal assistant will take you to the entrance to the cave, introduce you to the guides in the Predjama caves and wait at the exit of the cave. The cave's tour, which includes a ride on the cave train and a walk along an easy path, takes an hour and a half. Each group excursion to Postojna Cave is accompanied by guides who provide visitors with comments on the tour in English, talking in detail about the magnificence of the cave. Cave tours run every hour from 9:00 am. You don't need any special skills or equipment to visit the cave. There is only one thing to consider, the temperature inside the cave is constant throughout the year (50 ºF), so warm clothes and sports shoes are recommended. After visiting the cave and the castle, you will have time to walk in the park, have a snack, visit the souvenir shop. The area around the castle and the cave is very well maintained and beautiful and does not present any difficulties for walking. After a leisurely visit to your chosen attractions, your personal assistant will drive you to your hotel or location of your choice. During the trip, you can always make a short stop in a beautiful places. Also, when traveling with us, you yourself determine the amount of time to visit the sights, no one rushes you anywhere, while your assistant is always there and ready to suggest, advise or change the travel plan according to your desire. Of course, you will have a map, a description of places and a lot of other interesting information about Slovenia in your personal folder.
