It is a starting point of your private tour (under the statue of Isabel II. Metro Opera). Take in the views of the square, named for the Queen of Spain Isabel II (ruled 1833-1868). On her initiative during the construction of the theater, which opened its doors in the Queen's birthday on 10 October 1850, the area was redesigned and received its present shape.
