We are truly blessed with a natural wonder sculpted over millions of years: the mesmerizing Gaitanes Gorge.

The inception of this "trail" dates back to the 20th century What they ingeniously crafted is a pathway that's a mere 1 meter wide and extends for 3 kilometers, soaring an incredible 100 meters above the ground!

A few years later, during the inauguration of the Dam by the esteemed King Alfonso XIII, he traversed this extraordinary route and bestowed upon it the name it carries proudly to this day: "El Caminito del Rey."

Only 1 hour separate Malaga from El Chorro, the town where our adventure begins. The route itself is short and free of difficulties, spanning 3 kilometers of entirely flat terrain. However, the true allure lies in its extraordinary location, with sections suspended more than 100 meters above the river.
Prepare to meander along dizzying walkways, traverse the reservoir on towering bridges, and savor breathtaking views from precipitous lookout points.

What To Expect

In this activity, you will visit one of the most spectacular natural landmarks in Andalusia, the Caminito del Rey! Just a 1-hour drive separates Malaga from your adventure.
Once at the location, the adventure begins. You'll join one of the groups organized by the staff to explore the route for about 3 hours. It's straightforward and flat, but... not suitable for those with a fear of heights!

After the tour, you'll have 1.5 hours to have lunch or take a stroll on your own in the area before returning to Malaga.

Your driver will pick you up at the designated point to take you to the area where Caminito del Rey is located. It's a pure and wild Andalusian landscape, rocky and filled with olive fields – the journey alone will captivate you.
