Journey back in time with your expert, personal guide on a tour of The Getty Villa in the picturesque Pacific Palisades in Los Angeles. The Getty Villa is a museum modeled after the Villa dei Papri, a country house in Herculaneum that was buried by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 AD. It displays a collection of Greek, Roman and Etruscan art that explores ancient life, culture, religion and even war.
