What To Expect

The gaze manages to embrace the valley floor from Ancona to the extreme south, crossing into Abruzzo towards the Gran Sasso massif. To the north appears Mount Sibilla with the Sibillini chain, and to the west the Lake of Pilato slowly brightens up along with the beautiful rock wall of Pizzo del Diavolo. Our craving for landscapes can hardly hope for better gratification. Who instead intends to stop and contemplate the beauty of this mountain without pushing up to the summit, has the opportunity to sit in front of the Rifugio Zilioli, in the company of uncontaminated nature, silence and a starry sky as it happens to see very rarely.
