Immersive Experience at the Anthropology Museum
Overview
This is not a typical guided walk at a museum, it’s a vivid experience in to the depths of our past where we will learn and understand so much about the pre columbian cultures that once lived on what’s now Mexican soil. All tho it’s fully possible to walk in on your own and look around the museum, you won’t get as much value of your time vs having experts to guide you and be ready to answer any question you might have.
Our team:
I’m a passionate historian who was spent the last 6 years researching and visiting different archeological sites for the pure pleasure of learning more about these fascinating people. After a fortunate unplanned turn of events, I started doing tours with the purpose of showing others the beauty of learning about the past and bringing these events back to life through some well done story telling. With time, a fellow anthropologist joined the team and we both have been on the mission to enrich our visitors experience.

What To Expect
Visiting the most important museum in Mexico is a stop you MUST DO and as the passionate historian that I am, I'll make sure that you leave with a very good understanding of how life was for our ancestors.
We will visit 4 rooms.
1.- We start with the Olmecas which represent our oldest ancestor recorded from prehispanic times and that left huge cultural influence for the cultures that came after them.
2.- Next we visit the Teotihuacanos. A very advanced civilization who we better know as responsible of the Pyramid of the Sun and the Moon. One of the biggest cities to exist in its time.
3.- Mexicas. The most dominant empire until the arrival of the Spanish conquerors. We will learn about their fascinating way of conceiving the world, cosmovisión, rituals, practices and the conflict that came along with the Spanish forces.
4.- The Mayas. Recognized for their mythology, development in fields like astronomy, architecture, art, along with other amazing accomplishments like their writing system. Their mysterious disappearance continues to fascinate us all!
